After developing an interest in Sous Vide I settled on the Gramercy Kitchen Precision Cooker. Appeared to have the features I needed, and none that I didn’t (such as WiFi and Bluetooth, available on other models).

The Precision cooker arrived as did the tub, cover, and insulator to go around the tub. I also bought reusable vacuum seal zipper bags with a small hand vacuum pump.
Set-up was a breeze, and the water went from cold from the the tap to the designated 131 degrees in about half an hour. I prepped my steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a pat of herb butter, vacuum sealed in bags, and dropped them in the tub for a 2-hour cook.
After 2 hours I removed them from the bags, patted dry, and seared all sides in a smoking hot cast iron skillet. Not my first steak by a long shot, but arguably the best cooked steak I have EVER had! Perfect pink top to bottom with a great caramelized exterior.
