Shredded Beef Sandwiches

  • 1 – 3lb Rump Roast
  • 2  Jalapenos (cored, seeded, sliced)
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion (sliced)
  • 1 Large Green Bell pepper (sliced)
  • 6 Cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Bottle Beer (room temp)
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Hamburger Buns
  • Mesquite pellets
  • Seasoned roast with Santa Maria
  • Pre-Heated MAK to 225
  • Cooked until roast IT @ 150 (approx 3 hours)
  • Added beer and Worstershire sauce to veggies.
  • Put roast in pan and covered in foil.  Pit to 350 degrees.
  • Roast IT 200  – pulled and shredded beef. (approx 3 hours)
  • Continued coking uncovered for 30 minutes
